Terms and conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for and participating in any course, training, or event offered by Phantom Concepts LLC. or affiliated partners (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Participant Requirements

  • All participants must be at least 18 years old (or accompanied by a legal guardian if under 18, subject to course restrictions).
  • Participants must legally be allowed to handle and possess firearms under federal, state, and local laws.
  • All students must complete a waiver of liability prior to participation. Failure to complete the waiver will result in denied entry to the course without a refund.
  • Participants must follow all safety instructions given by instructors. Any unsafe behavior may result in immediate removal from the course without a refund.

3. Course Content & Disclaimer

  • Our courses are designed for educational and training purposes only and should not be considered legal, tactical, or operational advice.
  • Participation in our training does not qualify an individual as a firearms instructor, law enforcement officer, or self-defense expert.
  • Training includes both live firearms and non-lethal training munitions (e.g., Simunition®, UTM®, airsoft, and other marking rounds). While precautions are taken to ensure safety, participants acknowledge the inherent risks involved.
  • We do not guarantee that participation in our courses will ensure success in real-world self-defense situations.

4. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

  • Firearms and non-lethal training munitions are inherently dangerous. By participating in our training, you assume all risks associated with handling and using firearms, training munitions, and physical defensive tactics.
  • We are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or property damage resulting from participation in our courses.
  • You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless [Company Name], its instructors, affiliates, and property owners from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from your participation.

5. Refund & Rescheduling Policy

  • Full refunds are available if requested at least 7 days before the scheduled class date. Refunds will not be issued for requests made within 7 days of the class.
  • Class rescheduling is free if requested at least 7 days prior to the class date. Reschedule requests within 7 days may be subject to a $50 change fee.
  • No-shows or late arrivals may be denied entry without a refund.

6. Equipment & Ammunition Policy

  • Participants are responsible for bringing their own approved firearms, ammunition, and gear, unless otherwise specified.
  • Only approved factory-manufactured ammunition is permitted—no handloads or reloaded ammunition unless specifically authorized.
  • We reserve the right to inspect and deny the use of any equipment deemed unsafe or unsuitable for the course.

7. Photography & Media Release

  • We may take photos and videos during training for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes. By participating, you grant us permission to use your likeness in media.
  • If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify us in writing before the course.

8. Code of Conduct

  • Respect all instructors, staff, and fellow students. Disruptive, reckless, or threatening behavior will result in removal from training without a refund.
  • No alcohol or drugs are permitted before or during training. Anyone suspected of impairment will be removed immediately.
  • Failure to follow safety rules will result in immediate dismissal without a refund.

9. Legal Compliance

  • Participants are responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding firearm ownership, transportation, and use.
  • We reserve the right to refuse training to anyone we determine may pose a safety risk or legal liability.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued participation in our training constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Refunds and returns

Class Refunds and Rescheduling

We offer full refunds for course registrations if requested at least 7 days before the scheduled class date. Refund requests made within 7 days of the class will not be accepted.

If you need to reschedule, we allow free class changes to another available date of equal or lesser value if requested at least 7 days prior to the class. Reschedule requests made within 7 days of the class may be subject to a $50 change fee.

Returns for Purchased Items

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return unused items within 30 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. Returned items must be in their original condition and packaging. All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer, unless the item was received damaged or defective.
